Flying a drone?
Use the Drone zonesbutton above to open the official DigitalSky airspace map. Under India's Drone Rules 2021, where you can fly depends on the zone:
Fly without prior permission
Airspace up to 120 m (400 ft) that is not a red or yellow zone. Still register your drone and follow the Drone Rules 2021.
Permission or altitude limits
Airport buffers between roughly 5 and 12 km can require ATC permission and may carry altitude limits. Check the live DigitalSky map before planning a shoot.
No flying
Red zones are no-drone zones. Flights need explicit Central Government permission, and the live DigitalSky map can change over time.
Airspace can change and temporary red zones can appear, so always check the authoritative, up-to-date DigitalSky map before every flight:
